Bovine tuberculosis

The term 'Bovine tuberculosis ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' A highly contagious disease of cattle that causes severe economic losses, especially in dairy herds. The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service quarantines infected herds and works with producers to eradicate the disease. The target date for total eradication has been pushed back from 1998 to after the year 2000'.
